Conservation
Conserving water is a crucial task. Some people are able to dedicate large sums of money. Some are able to contribute hundreds of volunteer hours. Influence is brought in the form of celebrity or even political power. The majority of us, though, do not have such resources at our disposal. However, we can collectively make a difference by implementing water conservation into our lifestyles.
By setting an example of mindfulness about our water usage, we can influence many people we encounter. We only have to be willing to make small day-to-day sacrifices in our daily lives to collectively make an impact on a global scale. By making small adjustments, in simple ways, each of us can participate in conserving water. The way we brush our teeth or water our lawns, and making the choice to invest in water efficient products are all small acts that can lead to saving gallons of water each day. When neighborhoods work together, water savings multiplies quickly. With entire cities, counties, and states getting involved, the savings are immeasurable. This all begins with us. Each decision we make when we first wake up in the morning, until we retire for the evening, has an impact. |
