Technology
Many developing countries lack clean water sources, and there is an all-around global shortage of clean drinkable water. There are many ways individuals can reduce their water usage. Today’s technology has allowed activists to design various devices to aid in the conservation and purification of water. There are low-flow appliances and grey water systems (allowing you to use wash water from sink, tub, shower, etc. drainage for garden watering) that are options for daily water conservation in our homes. Globally, we have been able to provide developing countries with portable water filters to sanitize contaminated water. There has even been the creation of a billboard that produces clean drinking water from condensation collected from the air. Technology has made it possible to create numerous ways of combating the water crisis around the world. |
