Advocacy and Movements
Currently, there are many organizations involved in advocating and moving to advocate , educate, and provide solutions to remedy the global water crisis. Many charity organizations like the Peace Corps and Red Cross work to provide clean safe water to impoverished people, but there are many other organizations whose main mission focuses on water.

WaterAid America works to provide clean water resources to the world’s poorest countries. They work to provide sustainable solutions to water sanitation needs. They partner with large companies like H&M to promote water awareness to citizens and policy makers in countries that have the power to make change. They also share their research and successes publicly, and with other organizations, in an effort to promote increased advocacy.
Charity:Water is another organization working to solve the world’s clean water problems. They promise that 100% of the donations they receive fund water projects around the world. Their site provides a report to those who donate, showing exactly where each of their dollars went and what projects they helped complete. Completed reports are available for public view. They, of course, aren’t the only charities out there. A comprehensive list of water charities can be found HERE.
